Contax G 21mm and 28mm are unique conversions, that reuse the existing exterior metal frame and its glass of the original Contax G lens by combining it with machined brass components made here, in the UK.

The all-brass custom helicoid permits the lens to have rangefinder coupled focus from 0.65m thru Infinity, and permitting also a new uncoupled minimum focus distance of 0.2m! Now the 28mm and 21mm Biogons can be used as near macro lenses with the aid of Live View/EVF.
