Contax G 28mm is a unique conversion that reuses the existing exterior metal frame and its glass of the original Contax G lens by combining it with machined brass components made here, in the UK.

The all-brass custom helicoid permits the lens to have rangefinder coupled focus from 0.65m through to Infinity, as well as permitting a new uncoupled minimum focus distance of 0.2m!
Now the 28mm Biogon can be used as a near macro lens with the aid of Live View/EVF.
